This impressive, high-profile project in Wallisellen, Switzerland, combines state-of-the-art architecture with an exclusive design concept:
A 68-metre-high office tower, a seven-storey hotel and a commercial building make up the complex. The latter serves as a ‘car hotel’ for the high-end collector’s cars owned by Zurich’s motoring enthusiasts. It also houses the official Ferrari and Maserati service centres, as well as the ‘Octane 126’ racing team.
The Serliana Tower itself was built in the style of the iconic New York skyscrapers of the 1930s, whilst the modernised commercial hall deliberately draws on the design language of early 20th-century industrial buildings, thus creating a striking architectural contrast with a touch of historical flair.
For this construction project, Modersohn supplied precast fixings, wall and scaffolding anchors, Angle support brackets, horizontal connections and various custom-welded structures.
