In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.

We offer you precise cutting quality through powerful high-speed fibre laser equipment with up to 10 kW power for cutting areas up to 2,000 x 4,000 mm and sheet thicknesses up to 35 mm.

- Advantages of the fibre laser compared to conventional CO2 lasers:
→ Faster throughput times
→ More economic
→ Cuts all hard and soft metals (e.g. aluminium) and steels;
in contrast to a CO2 laser, which only cuts hard metals.
Service
- just like the water jet cutting system, our laser systems run in 2 and 3 shifts, as well as on most Saturdays - so that you can quickly get your urgently needed cut parts or components
- various strip thicknesses from 0.5 - 8 (10) mm in 1.4301/1.4307, 1.4404/1.4571 and also in stainless standard duplex steel (1.4462) or new in Lean Duplex (e.g. 1.4062, 1.4162 or 1.4662)
