A modern urban development project, costing around 6.5 million euros, has been completed in the immediate vicinity of the University of Kassel’s Holländischer Platz campus, with funding from the State of Hesse via the ‘Student Housing’ grant scheme.
Thanks to its clean lines, the new five-storey red-brick building blends harmoniously into the university’s historic ensemble of clinker-brick buildings, thus creating a coherent architectural whole.
For this project, Modersohn supplied precast fixings, angle bracket anchors, wall anchors and custom-welded structures.
