The flexible design program, according to EN 1992-4:2018, developed by "engineers for engineers", brings some advantages and simplifications for the design of Anchor channels in concrete substrates and precast concrete façades.
For example, all concrete elements can be entered into the user-friendly software for project planning. And additionally required installation and assembly parts can also be entered with the programme on a slab-by-slab basis.
Another advantage is that the slabs are clearly displayed in the project window and can also be sorted alphabetically afterwards. All scheduled products can be given detailed designations in a separate input mask.
In addition, external project participants such as structural engineers, inspectors, purchasing and precast plants receive all documents, plans and records clearly and individually prepared for printing.
A new feature is that the additional reinforcements are now also taken into account in the design. The updated design software has been created bilingually and can now also be executed in English. Other products for the design of façade fastening systems for precast concrete façades offered by the programme are restraint anchor FB-E with static verification and suspension tie anchor FB-H with German building authority approval Z-21.8-2012.
The new version MOSOCONstructor Version 3.1.67 is now available for download on the website of Wilhelm Modersohn GmbH & Co. KG website for download. System requirement is the use of the operating software Windows in the current version.
