Threaded sleeves

Threaded sleeves in the building industry are thick-walled pipe sleeves with internal thread, usually made of solid or hollow steel.
The origin comes from the pipe connection technology.

However, Modersohn produces them primarily for tension anchors made of round steel or threaded rods. Some variants also have a control hole to check whether both thread ends are screwed in far enough and meet in the middle. A threaded socket is used to connect e.g. threaded rods or double ends, not to tighten threads. See "Tightening sleeves".

Threaded sleeves are available as hexagonal or round sleeves. They are the heavy or thick-walled type compared to the threaded sleeves, which are made of thinner pipe or pipe sleeves with pressed thread.
