Support brackets for brickwork

Support brackets are load-bearing anchors for the double-shell facing brickwork facade. The forces of the facing formwork are laterally diverted into the displacement base (mostly concrete) via a mostly height-adjustable support anchor head by means of a removable wedge plate and a cantilever gusset with pressure point (also removable pressure screw). They can be designed as individual support bracket or angle support bracket. As the name suggests, the individual support bracket is a bearing anchors for an individual load application point. The individual support brackets arranged in a line on a so-called support level bear the force of the facing formwork (façade) via the hardened stone composite. The angle support bracket consist of at least two support anchors heads (load application points) being connect via a continuous, normally firmly welded angle. This is the advantage of the angle support bracket compare to single support bracket, because load application points on the support level can be saved with an appropriate detail planning. This also saves material costs, mounting work and unpreferred heat transfers.

Based on its standardization, the individual support bracket can be flexibly applied and is normally available in the standard load levels from stock at Modersohn. Furthermore, MODERSOHN has the CE marking, type tests and the technical approval Z-21.8-1892 for bearing anchor heads and pre-cast lintel fixtures Z-21.4-1907.
