Tie rods

A tie rod is a rod-shaped supporting or retaining structure which dissipates forces in diverging directions along the rod.
MODERSOHN produces tie rods made of round steel with threads on both sides (rolled or cut), so-called double ends in lengths up to 14 m. Alternatively, threaded rods (with connecting sleeves for longer lengths) can be used.
MODERSOHN has extensive stocks of M5 - M42 in lengths of 3,000 mm each.

Technically optimal and particularly economical are tie rods made of stainless Lean Dupelx steel (1.4362, 1.4062, 1.4162), as an alternative to A4/A5 steels. The high basic strength of these materials allows the static approach of S400 or even S450 from a diameter of 20 mm, thus reducing rod cross-sections and lowering assembly costs due to smaller drill holes.
