Stair step profiles

MODERSOHN manufactures stainless steel profiles (mostly as angle profile 40/40/4 mm) with non-slip tread edge (R12) for concreting in concrete stairs. The MOSO® stair tread profile is also an edge protection and is characterised by its durability, especially in the area of the tread edge which is milled as a serration. Such tread edges on concrete stairs are ideal for outdoor areas with high passenger traffic, e.g. at universities, schools and other public buildings.
The profiles are manufactured in lengths of 6,000 mm and can be ordered in fixed lengths depending on the width of the staircase.
Round staircase shapes (convex, concave) are also possible. In such a case, the profiles are rounded to fit on a profile bending machine.
Anchoring in concrete is done with flat anchors or shear bolt anchors, depending on the planned edge reinforcement of the stair steps.

The stairs are concreted upside down, so the step protection angle can be clamped or glued (hot glue) to the bottom of the formwork.
Nail holes are also possible, but are often not desired due to the nail hole appearance.
The stair tread profiles can also be manufactured in brass or bronze (hard bronze).
