Formerly also known as clinker support, the area of masonry facade fixings has become much more extensive. In addition to bracket anchors, air layer anchors and prefabricated lintel fixings, there are now also windposts, masonry reinforcement, renovation anchors and much more. Especially the enlargement of the air and insulation layers, for a better facade insulation, has significantly increased the requirements and technical planning and performance of facade fixings. Over the past few years, MODERSOHN has developed many innovative products in order to optimally meet the increased requirements of sustainability in masonry facades.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
