Anchor crosses

Anchor crosses are mainly used in monument restoration at the end point of tensile anchors for force distribution in the masonry wall. They are the alternative to simple square or rectangular retaining plates and are intended to save material in addition to a better appearance (as they are often clearly visible). Especially if they are made of stainless steel, the cross bars can be cut flat and bent so that they can be welded together as a cross.

The MODERSOHN company manufactures the anchor crosses, also known as St. Andrew's crosses, from 0.2 to over 1 m in diameter.
