City district Q6/Q7, Mannheim

The new Q6/Q7 neighbourhood was one of Mannheim's largest construction projects at the time.
The multifunctional urban quarter was completed in 2016. The architectural areas Q6/Q7, the latter also known as the "small Fressgasse", offer representative floor space for retail, offices, wellness, practices and living.
In particular, the high standards of the internationally renowned architectural office Blocher Blocher and Partners in terms of sophisticated design in the façade design reflect in every form the level of quality and functionality of the new and central eye-catcher in Mannheim.

For the realisation of this giant building, MODERSOHN supplied, among other things, the fixing systems for the concrete precast façade. The range of products manufactured from Lean Duplex steel, the MOSO^® precast concrete facade fixings, included e.g. panel hangers, pressure screws, restraint anchors, dowel connections and Serrated restraint anchors.

In this context, it is particularly worth mentioning that the basis of the calculations for the concrete fixings was created with the help of the in-house calculation software MOSOCONstructor.
