Solarlux Campus, Melle

The new "Solarlux Campus" building in Melle, Lower Saxony, which opened in September 2016, is an exemplary industrial building. The unusual openness connects the campus with its surroundings. The generous use of the company's own façade solutions lends the entire building a pleasant transparency and allows the campus to almost merge with nature. Bright, light-flooded workplaces can be found in almost all areas of the building. With its sustainable architecture, the Solarlux Campus sets standards in functionality, design and communication.

The Solarlux Campus is convincing:
Employees, guests and time and again juries of renowned design awards. The sustainable architecture has already been honoured with the Iconic Award 2017, the German Design Award 2018 and the State Prize for Architecture Lower Saxony.

The calculations of the columnar elements in the window niches posed a particular challenge to the interception, which was solved by our in-house engineers. For the success of the façade with fair-faced concrete elements, MODERSOHN supplied, among other things, all prefabricated fastenings, also as custom-made products, as well as suspended Tie rods and various Welded constructions according to drawings.
