Today marks the end of Leviat Safety Week.
During this annual company-wide campaign week, colleagues from the production department receive training on occupational safety through daily presentations. This year, topics such as machine safety, risks associated with factory traffic and the danger of hand injuries were highlighted.
As an additional programme, various health insurance companies visited MODERSOHN this week as part of Health Days 2025 with special offers.
The “Brainfood” theme day provided information on how our food affects our mood, performance and concentration, with helpful suggestions on how to positively influence these factors with the right foods and how to put together healthy snacks for yourself.
Colleagues were also able to attend a nutrition lecture, followed by a joint preparation of a healthy salad bowl.
Finally, a cardiovascular check-up offered the opportunity to have blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar and cholesterol levels checked and BMI and body fat percentage determined.
The health initiatives were a great success, receiving a strong response from colleagues and being very well received.

In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.
