Prefabricated lintel fastenings

Masonry lintels are more and more frequently no longer bricked up, but are instead hung on bracket anchors as finished prefabricated concrete elements with a matching masonry look using small straps or special angled stones that can be concreted out. The whole system is called precast lintel fixing and consists of two anchor channels, usually with an anchoring U-bracket instead of shear bolts. Hammer or hook head bolts and two fixing brackets support the precast lintel thus concreted. Height adjustment is carried out by means of the adjustment system with wedge disc at the intercepting bracket head. The oblong holes of the bracket retaining plate and the anchor rail in the precast element allow for lateral and depth adjustment. As the precast lintel is additionally reinforced, it can also be used immediately for the masonry of the further facade wall. A further angle support with roll layer brackets is therefore not necessary.
Modersohn supplies the prefabricated lintel fasteners of this type as type "FB-U" with building authority approval Z-21.4-1907. There are also other prefabricated lintel fastening systems which make use of the lateral masonry directly at the window or door opening.

In this case, reinforcement stirrups and/or reinforcement plates are embedded in concrete at the top of both ends of the lintel and the entire precast concrete lintel is placed on the laterally raised retaining walls. These systems are also manufactured by Modersohn according to the requirements.
