Regional Health Centre Tönning

Within just one year, a modern regional health centre (RGZ) was built on the site of the former Tönning hospital, which will provide medical care for around 30,000 people in Eiderstedt and northern Dithmarschen in future.
The RGZ is the first building block of the comprehensive "Tönning Health Quarter" project, which is to be expanded step by step – including barrier-free living space, assisted living, outpatient nursing and intensive care, and inpatient care services.

Construction of the new building, costing around nine million euros, began in May 2023 and was successfully completed in mid-2024. 
Covering an area of 730 m², patients will find not only the services offered by the GP centre but also specialist practices for surgery, radiology and gynaecology.

The medical spectrum is complemented by accident insurance consultant, foot and vein consultation hours as well as cosmetic and plastic surgery consultations. 
A podiatry practice, a psychotherapy practice and a medical supply store on the ground floor round off the wide range of services on offer.

Modersohn supplied the necessary prefacast fixings and angle bracket anchors for the new building.

Stainless steel of Corrosion resistance class (CRC) III was used for the brackets.
