In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.

Project description
The housing concept of the Sunnige Hof housing cooperative for the Zurich new Mattenhof housing estate is to take into account both neighbourhood-specific needs and various household and living arrangements. Families, senior citizens and singles should feel attracted by the attractive residential and commercial buildings. Services offered exclusively to residents include a laundry, a senior citizens' café, car sharing, a bakery, childcare and a medical centre. The attractive buildings, with a light clinker brick façade, high windows and generously proportioned open spaces, are also intended to give the residents a pleasant and free living experience.
MOSO® support anchors and MOSO® MBA-CE Anchor channels were used for the Masonry support.
