L-Bank, Karlsruhe

In October 2006, the foundation stone was laid for the new office building of the L-Bank in Karlsruhe, based on a design by Gesine Weinmiller from Berlin, with underground parking and an integrated row of shops. The construction of the natural stone façade was completed in February 2008. A special eye-catcher is the light-coloured natural stone façade, whose stones were specially imported from the Carieré de Magny Lambert quarry in France. The moving of the natural stones and the installation of the Stainless steel interception construction was carried out under the supervision of the company Zeidler & Wimmel from Kirchheim.

For the new building of the L-Bank in Karlsruhe, Fastening elements made of Lean Duplex Stainless steel 1.4362 from MODERSOHN were used. MODERSOHN products were installed in the window area, to support the dormer natural stone pillars and on the supports of the arcade.
