Project description

"The Ravensburg Art Museum" was designed by the Stuttgart architectural firm Lederer + Ragnarsdóttir + Oei. In keeping with the motto "First comes the city, then the house", the Stuttgart architects have also related the new art museum to the historic city ensemble of Ravensburg. The Ravensburg Art Museum is home to one of the largest private collections in southern Germany.

MODERSOHN was responsible, among other things, for the design of the heat-transfer-optimised brackets and supplied special components for the suspended prefabricated ceilings with slat covering. It was important here to take into account various architectural aspects and to guarantee impact protection for the clinker facade in the area close to the ground.
