In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.

Tests & Approvals
In addition to our product approvals for our system products, you can also obtain from us the heavy-duty fastening constructions that cannot be verified by calculation with general building authority approval from the German Institute for Building Technology in Berlin.
Together with our own engineering office for structural analysis, we can provide you with verifiable structural analyses on request for all fastening situations that occur.
A total of approx. 20 experienced civil engineers and technicians are available for facade planning.

Our experts for certification and auditing
As a certified Specialist welding company with manufacturer's qualification according to DIN EN 1090 EXC3, we have extensive expertise in the production and processing of Stainless steel and lean duplex steels. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolf-Berend Busch and operations manager (mechanical engineer B.Sc.) Vitalij Pfeifer, as "International Welding Engineers" (IWE), are responsible for supervision in our Specialist welding company.
Our quality management is regulated in the outgoing goods inspection by various employees with certification for visual inspection level 2 (VT2) and employees with certification for penetrant inspection level 2 (PT2).
