In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.

Water cuts
Our waterjet cutting system has a maximum operating pressure of 3,800 bar and thus easily processes material thicknesses of over 100 mm. The maximum sheet size is 3,000 x 4,000 mm.

- Cut qualities: Fine cut, quality cut, simple separation cut (please specify when enquiring, request samples if necessary!)
- Sheet thicknesses up to 150 mm and more (depending on cutting speed).
- Accuracy depending on cutting speed: max. ± 0.1 mm for thin sheet metal
- Material: stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, plastic, stones, ceramics, elastomeric bearings
- Profile shapes: Sheets / panels, square tubes, other profiles such as angles, U-profiles etc. by arrangement
- Sheet / panel sizes: max. 3,000 mm x 4,000 mm

- just like our laser systems, the waterjet cutting system runs in 2 and 3 shifts, as well as on most Saturdays - so that you can quickly get your urgently needed cut parts or components
- various quarto plate thicknesses from 10 - 60 (110) mm in 1.4301/1.4307, 1.4404/1.4571 and also in Lean Duplex Stainless 1.4062 / 1.4162 in stock
