In 2002, Wilhelm Modersohn became aware of the SAF2304 (1.4362) material through Avesta in Sweden. In 2003 Modersohn introduced the first Lean Duplex steel for system products in the German market for fastening systems.

As an independent representative of fastening systems from the company Lutz from Wertheim, Wilhelm Modersohn sen. had recognised early on that there was a great demand in the market for fastenings in the area of masonry facades. In March 1970, he and two employees founded the company, which today has over 140 employees.

Industrial components, special heavy duty and special constructions made of stainless steel
We manufacture special and series components made of stainless steels and lean duplex steels quickly and reliably. Equipped with the most modern technical means, we process your supplied data seamlessly from simple cutting to complex Welded constructions.
In addition to 1.4404 or 1.4571, we supply the building authority-approved stainless Lean Duplex steels, e.g. Wst. No. 1.4062, 1.4162, 1.4362, 1.4662.
These steels have at least twice the basic strength with at least the same Corrosion resistance, a significantly higher fatigue strength and also lower alloy surcharges due to lower alloy components.
- Processing of sheet metal and bar steel from 0.5 mm to over 150 mm material cross-section
- Individual piece weights of max. 5 tonnes and component lengths of over 12 metres are possible
- Use of the latest computer-controlled machines and systems
- Precision work through the use of welding robot technology
